"Supporting rural
peripheral communities to adapt to the impacts of climate change"
This
project will bring together new and existing knowledge and experiences
on how rural communities can better increase their capacity to make, and implement adaptation decisions:
» Locally
relevant climate
change vulnerability scenarios
» Examples of community climate change adaptation strategies » Examples of climate change impact visualisations and communication tools » Examples of real adaptations made communities ...... and
use this knowledge to help establish
an affordable, accessible, and relevant, up to date information,
training, and advice service on climate change
and adaptation
for community
stakeholders throughout the northern periphery.
